WHAT TO EXPECT

We know walking into a new place can feel uncertain. Here is exactly what to expect when you come to Project Rising Hope for the first time.

Your First Visit, Step by Step

1. Arrive anytime between Noon and 4pm No appointment, no sign-up, no pre-registration required. Just show up. Every Tuesday at 750 E Mingus Ave, Cottonwood.

2. Bring your Arizona ID An Arizona Driver’s License or state-issued ID is all you need. Yavapai County residents are our primary neighbors, but all are welcome.

3. You will be greeted by name Our volunteers welcome every person warmly, whether it is your first visit or your hundredth. You are not a number here.

4. Shop the pantry your way Browse our warehouse-style pantry and choose the items that fit your family’s diet, preferences, and health needs. You are not handed a box. You select what you actually need.

5. Fresh produce when available Through our Arizona Food Bank Network partnerships, we offer locally grown, farm-fresh produce alongside pantry staples. Free food should also be good food.

6. Leave with more than groceries Conversations happen in the aisles. People pray together. Names are remembered. You are part of a community the moment you walk in.

Who Can Come?

Project Rising Hope serves anyone with an Arizona Driver’s License or state-issued ID. Yavapai County residents make up the largest portion of our neighbors, and we are proud to be a trusted resource for the Verde Valley community.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, come anyway and we will figure it out together. No one is turned away without a conversation.
